Home And Commercial Drywall Repair & Installation

The following list is just a small sample of the drywall services we offer. Please feel free to contact us with any of your drywall repair and installation needs. Questions are always welcome.

Ceiling Repair – One of the most common repairs for homeowners is ceiling repairs.  There are many causes for ceiling damage. Overflowing toilets, plumbing leaks, and roof leaks are the top three. We can assess your ceiling damage and come up with options  to repair or replace the entire ceiling. Learn more about ceiling repair.

Wall Repair – Whether it’s a small hole in the wall or a large damaged area, we can replace the damaged drywall, and texture it to look like new again. Learn more about wall repair.

Plaster Repair– Many older homes throughout the area were originally built using plaster.  Over time the plaster can crack and break away from the framing it was attached to.  There are a few different options when it comes to repairing the plaster. If it’s just a small section that is loose, we can remove it and replace it with drywall. If a whole wall or ceiling has come loose, usually the only option is to remove it all and replace it with full sheets of drywall. Learn more about plaster repair.

Joint Seam Repair – When a home is under construction, the building will typically use the largest  sheets of drywall that will minimize the number of drywall joints in the home.  These joints are covered with a 3 inch piece of paper tape and then coated with drywall mud. Over time these seams can separate from the drywall due to moisture damage or improper installation.  If you have a seam that has come loose or is damaged, we can cut out the section that needs replaced, install a new seam and finish with matching texture. Basement Finishing – We offer a few unique options to help you complete your basement drywall project.  One option we offer is to do a complete drywall install and finish. This includes hanging the drywall, finishing the joints and spraying the ceiling and wall texture.  The other option is for the homeowner to install the drywall themselves and then have us come in and do the joint finishing and texturing. We like to offer both options to help out the homeowners that are on a budget and trying to minimize the expense. Learn more about basement finishing.

Knockdown Texture – What is knockdown texture? Most homes built in the last 20 years have a texture sprayed on the ceiling that is called knockdown. This texture is created by first spraying a thick spoty mud compound onto a flat surface. The compound is then allowed to set up for a few minutes and then a large trowel is pulled over the compound to create the knockdown texture effect.  This texture is also a good option to use on walls or ceilings that have had a lot of previous damage, applying a knockdown texture can hide many previous blemishes. Orange Peel Texture – The light bumpy texture that is found on interior walls is called orange peel texture. This texture is very subtle and helps hide minor imperfections. This texture is applied with a special high pressure machine that creates the effect that looks like the texture on an orange peel. Learn more about orange peel texture.

New Tub Surrounds – When a new tub or shower is installed in an existing home, the drywall is cutout to make room for the new fixture. We can replace the missing drywall and texture it to match the existing drywall.

Damaged Corner Bead– The outside corners of interior walls are created with a metal or plastic piece called a corner bead. These can get damaged or come loose over the years of home use. We can repair the area that is damaged and retexture to match the existing walls.
